Hello everyone! I am back with another monthly update and it is really crazy much fast time has passed, but also, how much has happened in the meantime!
Remember how I said that it was nice if real life gets in the way of spending much time on the ? Well it sure did!
So, in terms of this website, there has been a major change. I have switched over to using a Static Site Generator (SSG) called HUGO. I was not really planning on it. But my father gifted me his old desktop (from early 2010s) and I started playing around with linux on it. Then I thought about how I could easily create more pages on this website, without spending too much time on the coding aspect, sinceI want to put more time in illustrating and creating free-to-use layouts for others. And then I discovered HUGO. So it has been a lot of learning for me this past weeks. And that has been really enjoyable. However, the current version 2.1 does not really visibly reflect all those changes. Singe it is mostly on the backendof things that the coding experience has really changed.
Other than that, not much has been going on in terms of me creating new stuff for the online world. I have mostly been busy with renovating the cave-house. Currently we are installing a woodstove so that next winter it will not be so cold inside. And I am also tending to the garden. I have some seedlings, which I am very curious to see how they will turn out.
Enjoying each day, looking at the mountains, listening to the birds. That’s how I have spent most of my time. And now that I know that in 1,5 months we will return to our regular suburbian dwelling, I am even more poised to enjoy the remaining days.
